Where did the Queen get all that organic skin?

Is it synthesized? Is "synthesized organic skin" a contradiction, or does an imitation become real at a certain threshold of sophistication?
Or did she send a drone to, like, very carefully carve it off of a person? Who? How did she choose? Was it Barclay? That seems like the sort of thing that would happen to Barclay. Poor Barclay.
Am I asking the wrong questions? Should I be asking questions about my questions? Should I be asking any questions at all??? Or should I just watch the movie

The Borg almost certainly posses the ability to clone/grow organic tissue. Likely nanoprobes can do it, given the right resources. They are part organic and still need to repair injuries to that organic tissue.

Well, their primary function is to take over a body and start making a borg, including at least the ability to mamufacture and implant cybernetics. Not a huge leap to assume they can manufacture organic material too.

You would think even the federation would have the ability to use their teleporters to heal away teams from afar. I bet the test runs are horrific though - blargh!

It was just two small pieces on Data's forearm and face. She had hundreds of new drones. Why do you think it may have been a challenge for her to get a few square inches of fresh skin?

If you're talking about the skin she put on Data in First Contact, Barclay was down on Earth at the time. Plus he still had all his skin when he showed up on Voyager. 😉
