MSI Pro A620M E
7800x3d
9070xt
Crucial DDR5 SODIMM 5600 16gb
Cougar 650w
Bios ver E7E28AMS.1H0 (can start up to 9000 series)
Yes I bought notebook RAM for economic reasons and attached it with adapter. So it didn’t work but I tried with 8400kf and it was ok, I could get BIOS. I guess that there’s some conflict between x3d memory and SODIMM→DIMM adapter. 7800x3d is new I also changed it just in case
I want to try update BIOS one by one until can start it with 7800x3d but maybe there’s some other ideas? Thank you

The 8000 series Ryzens are not as temperamental to ram stability due to their monolithic architecture, 7000 series has a seperate I/O die and memory stability is crucial to work properly, so i think that adapter for your sodimm may be causing issues with the memory controller on the cpu and preventing it from booting.
Not sure how much you paid for the sodimm kit of ram but a similar 16gb of udimm should be similar in price, maybe even cheaper if used.

Wow really useful info thank you. Can consider more now. Well it was used sodimm I paid $90

A used UDIMM of 5600 16GB should be around a similar price used, if possible return the ram and get a udimm.
Anything in the 5690-6000MT CL30-38 is fine, the X3D chips don't really care too much about memory speed due to the extra 3d vcache which makes up for slower ram.
