Hi guys,
I am thinking of upgrading my current Processor (i7-9700k 3.6 32 GB ram with RTX 3080, 4 SSD and 1 HDD). I am thinking to change to the following:
- AMD RYZEN 7 9800X3D
- Motherboard - ASUS TUF Gaming B650E
- DDR 5 64 GB
My budget is $2,500-$3,500. I am looking for recommendation for RAM, and if you think there is better combination for processor and motherboard. My day to day task would be gaming, software development, data analytics, video editing and in the future i am thinking of getting into game development.
Any recommendations? if you think i should wait for another 2-3 years please let me know.
Thank you very much for your input!

The only thing hurting your system at the moment is the older CPU. Everything else is decently modern and could easily wait 2 or 3 years for an upgrade.
I'd upgrade to a newer AM4 motherboard and CPU or 12-14th gen intel board for cheap (~$400) and keep all the other parts.

If this is a workstation pc, i would stay with intel. Intel Ultra 270k. You are going to have to change motherboards though.
