My buddy/his wife & my wife/I are 1 week out from heading to Colorado for 10 days from the Midwest. We couldn’t be more pumped for this trip. Our first night will be Colorado Springs (I’ve been there before) and will hit Pikes Peak, and some other nice places around. Then we are heading west to Ouray. We understand that trails may or may not be open in San Juan area but will still head that way. Any insight or places we should for see check out while we are out that way? Thank you and hope to see you all out there.

I rode the highway through to telluride, Durango is a couple hours away from ouray, if you have an opportunity to get down there it was one of my favorite places to visit.
I took the train to silverton, super touristy but I love that shit. And I was on my motorcycle so it was a nice break for me.
