Haven't built a pc in 10 years and i'm wondering about non-modular power supply cable management in modern cases.

When I look at most cases these days I notice that the bottom has an enclosed area instead of being wide open like older cases, I was going to buy a corsair modular psu after getting paid today but the sale ended and now only the non-modular version is available.
Does the concern over spare cables getting in the way get resolved by that enclosed area at the bottom of cases?

Also why just dont get a full modular one a full and also much better one costs you just a few bucks more.

Not really. You just zip tie and tuck em out of the way similar to how we used to.

Most ATX cases now have cable management space behind the motherboard traycyo facilitate better airflow around components. All of the cables (power, data, and signal) route behind the tray and pop out near the edges of the board for connections. There's usually some clips and loops for cable ties back there to make it neater and give you a place to ruck excess wires out of the way.
