Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Motherboard Compatibility

Looking to try and confirm what I think I know -- that the Intel Core Ultra 7 270K is compatible with the Pro Q870M-C-CSM.
ASUS's site outright lists it as a supported CPU. But I have also come across a couple things here and there suggesting it might not support the wattage.
I'm inclined to trust the manufacturers listing, but I also haven't been able to find anything indicating the CPU wattage supported by the Q870M, and don't want to find myself in a situation where the CPU is technically compatible (i.e. fits the slot), but really isn't compatible in practice, either not working or being substantially limited.
Thanks in advance!

Is there a reason for that board in particular instead of Z890?

I like to play around with a variety of (sometimes very) old hardware and software, which can come with its own set of challenges. In the past corporate boards like the Q series have generally worked well with that. The native ps/2 ports come in pretty handy in that same regard, though one could get adapters if need be. I also don't really mess around with overclocking, so don't miss it. I also don't use have any real need or use for Bluetooth or WIFI (at least on my desktop), and am not missing anything there either.
Might be more if I put some though into it, but that's the off the top logic.

There's no point putting the 270K on that board, IMO. It has a piss-poor VRM with no heatsinks whatsoever. Anything you would need a 270K to do work for will overheat that VRM and throttle the CPU. And if you're not doing anything intensive or need to power limit and gimp the CPU, then why did you waste money on a 270K, use a 225 or 245 instead...I think that board's intended use is with low end CPUs in office or terminal machines anyway.

Thank you very much, exactly the sort of mistake I was hoping to avoid.
