Cheap(er) Uptown Apartments

Hello!
I’m planning on moving to the uptown area soon, and would prefer not to have a roommate, but might have to lol.
I’d like to be preferably somewhere near the Katy trail. Ideally a 1 bed for less than $2100 all in. Seems like most stuff is in the 2500-3k range, but wondering if yall know of any hidden gems that are a little cheaper but still nice!

Even if you did find a cheapo one bed, all the fees and utilities will make it easily $2k. 😵💫

We’ve lived in uptown, and yes it may have been a few years but that budget seems like it should be possible? Check with a locator, they often know specials or hidden gems that can bring the rental cost down a bit. I’ve sent a quick DM. Good luck!
