Gaming only pc with a budget of $3k to $4k max.
I have a 1440p 240hz monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc already.
This list is roughly what I was looking at. Need some expert help here. I do have a micro center about 1.5 hours away (Tustin). I can go there and do the whole build (have them build it aswell) if needed.

Get the bundle.

Except it’s ASUS. ASUS is garbage. Avoid ASUS.

To be fair, pretty much all the companies in this space suck at some level. It's just differing levels of suck. I miss EVGA
PokerLawyer75@reddit
EVGA got what they deserved. Their own CEO refused to honor the warranty on a motherboard after their technicians destroyed a SATA RAID.
ASUS has had documented issues for two decades including refusing to honor warranties for RMA.
MSI is fine and MicroCenter has bundles with them.

Any brand is bad the moment you have trouble.
Personally I did not have any issues with ASUS, instead I had issues with MSI, Gigabyte, Corsair.
In the end I still use Corsair, MSI and ASUS components. It is what it is. You just hope that things work and keep working...

Literally used this bundle and a 5080 for a build last week. Fully recommend

I see that recommendation a lot with the $50 extra one. Which I’m thinking about too. Just not too sure on the ram, ssd, case / fans
n7_trekkie@reddit
It comes with ram so don't think about that part
Nearby_Schedule4729@reddit (OP)
That’s true, it almost seems like my best bet is to just walk in there and have them do the building
n7_trekkie@reddit
I wouldn't do that because building is fun. Also the bundle is the only thing, besides some GPUs, that are priced well at microcenter
Nearby_Schedule4729@reddit (OP)
Isn’t there issues with some mobos and the 9850? Where I have to do some updates or something to make it work? That’s the only worrying part to me
n7_trekkie@reddit
Would microcenter sell hundreds of 9850x3d bundles with the same exact motherboard if it didn't work?

Touche lol

Nvidia is typically built around overclocking while ryzen is built around raw performance.
