What happened?

I’m currently in Boston Logan, I was looking at some planes and I noticed that this A380 has aborted the takeoff and has been standing at this spot for more than 40 minutes now. What could possibly be the reason for this?

Checked out LiveATC, never took off at all, had a technical issue in the lineup and advised ATC they weren't ready and would need to contact engineering to resolution. They got instruction to taxi down and off onto 4R while they sorted it out. Said they might not have to go back to the gate, but they're moving again now, see if that's true.

When you abort there's a ton of checklists and brake cooling timers and paperwork that needs to be done, they're busy.
