Losing my mind over this. For starters, I understand the gain/loss in performance is negligible. After dropping $3500 on a new build, it's just frustrating. Not my first rodeo with builds, but my first time experiencing something like this.

It all appears to work fine. Ran Pragmata and Crimson Desert. LMU, iracing, 3D Mark, as well as some other popular AAAs. Held at x8 during the GPUz render test as well. No stuttering or fps issues. Played for extended periods of time. Thermals also look great.

Ran through the bios over and over and outside setting Gen 5/auto for PCIEx16 in miscellaneous, I see nothing else to my knowledge that could be causing it. Only other PCIEX16 wording in the bios is bifurcation, which by default is set to auto with x8x8, x8x4x4 and x4x4x4x4 being the other options. Biggest concern is something being faulty, and not catching it early on to deal with it now.

Read through a ton of other posts about re-seating the card and cleaning the slot. Definitely plenty of force. Tried the other PSU cable just to make sure. I cannot figure it out. Tried to cover everything as far as info. Any other troubleshooting recommendations? Anything I could be missing? Tempted to return the board at this point and get something else.
