GPU Upgrade Advice

Hey all, built this pc sometime around 2022 and has served me well. But recently with the new games coming out my 2060 gpu is struggling holding decent frames even at low graphics settings. So i decided tit was time to upgrade.
Looking to ideally upgrade only the GPU without have to replace any other parts
Im looking towards either a used 3070, or new 4060. But not sure whether theyll have a significant impact worth buying
Heres my current setup:
CPU
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6-core, 3.6 GHz)
Motherboard
- MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK (ATX, AM4)
Memory (RAM)
- Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2×16GB) DDR4-3600 CL18
Storage
- Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD (3.5", 7200 RPM)
- Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SSD (2.5")
Graphics Card (GPU)
- ASUS Dual EVO Advanced GeForce RTX 2060 6GB
Case
- NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower
Power Supply (PSU)
- Silverstone Essential 650W 80+ Gold (Semi-modular)
Any recommendations appreciated, thanks

3070 yes but not the 4060. You would be looking at a new 5060 instead.
Or standard recommendation of the 9060XT 16GB to consider too.

It’s a very good graphics card. Perfect for high 1080p gaming. I have one myself from when prices were lower. No complaints at all.

honestly you can't go wrong with anything from the last couple of years compared to your current GPU.
