This thread is for simple questions that don't warrant their own thread (although we strongly suggest checking the sidebar and the wiki before posting!). Please don't post involved questions that are better suited to a [Build Help], [Build Ready] or [Build Complete] post.
Examples of questions suitable for here:
- Is this RAM compatible with my motherboard?
- I'm thinking of getting a ≤$300 graphics card. Which one should I get?
- I'm on a very tight budget and I'm looking for a case ≤$50
Important: Downvotes are strongly discouraged in this thread. Sorting by new is strongly encouraged.

Does the motherboard affect the results of undervolting a 65w AM5 processor? Do you need better quality VRM's to go lower and not crash?
n7_trekkie@reddit
no, doesnt matter
Goble4@reddit
I read something about voltage ripples causing crashes in an undervolted system because the voltage dropped too low.

Cant change the time on my BIOS/UEFI. Only the hour keep resetting, the minutes and date work. My OS time works okay. I changed the CMOS battery, still doesn't work. One weird thing I notice is after I change the time in the BIOS and exit, it says I don't change anything.

It's fine, I don't think anything cares about the bios time

Is an X670E is better than B850/X870 for the same price?
n7_trekkie@reddit
Usually, yes. B850 and x870 only use one chip set per board, x670e uses 2 of the same chipset to give you more connectivity
