Heard “Take Me Home Tonight” in the grocery store earlier. The verse “and I hate to sleep alone”-I literally LOL’d. I would tell myself they ALL snore!!! I couldn’t wait to literally sleep with my partner. I romanticized it to the tenth degree. That was going to be the pinnacle of my adulthood 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣🤯

One better. My dad took me to lunch at an Indonesian restaurant in late 1900's. Great food. Sounded like traditional music until I realized.... I head Hotel California and Like a Virgin on traditional instruments. I then played name that tune. So fun.

I am my mother. I have the same hand gestures. I say some of the same phrases. It makes me feel old but I'll love it when she is gone (please not for a long time!!!)
