Hello, need to replace brakes and rotors on my 2022 Kia forte LXS my local auto shop quoted me $1200 so I disused to have a family friend fix them instead. Was wondering where u could order them from and if you guys had any brand recommendations. Thanks!

If all you need are bog standard brakes, rockauto or Amazon, or any major online retailer of automotive supplies.
Partsgeek has a full set of pads+rotors for under $200.

Not dissing Rockauto, but the ship wait can be difficult. Time is sometimes very valuable.
Napa, Autozone, Advanced Auto, O'Reilly, Federated. There are more. There are local places too. Physical stores with in house inventory, often with a warehouse. They provide the parts for the mechanic same day and keep them supplied to work.
Check their websites, call and ask. Keep notes. There can occasionally be big price differences for no obvious reason. Usually prices are close, maybe 25% difference. Most of these places also have loaner specialty tools. Maybe not the whole job, you are expected to have your own tools.

rockauto is the clear best choice in the US. In Canada, I find wrench monkey often has better prices when including the shipping.
