Anyone dealt with dispatcher Keith Broadaway at KLLM? (Avoid this guy)
Hey y'all, just wanted to put out a warning and see if anyone else has had the misfortune of dealing with dispatcher Keith Broadaway at KLLM. Apparently, he’s been there for over 8 years, but his management style is absolute garbage.
If you are on his board, watch your back. Here is what you can expect from him:
• Straight up lies and blames the driver: Every single time an issue pops up with a load, a shipper, or a receiver, he immediately points the finger at the driver. He will never take accountability or help you solve a problem.
• Verbal abuse: He will completely lose his temper and straight up curse you out over the phone if you challenge him on anything. Totally unprofessional.
• Load sabotage: If you don't bow down to him, he will intentionally mess with your money. He’ll sit you, give you garbage low-mileage runs, or sabotage your schedule just out of spite.
• Extreme micromanagement: The second you call him out or try to protect yourself, he starts mass-cc'ing upper management on every single email chain. He tries to loop in as many people as possible to twist the narrative, gaslight you, and make you look like the problem.
His toxic attitude has already forced at least three drivers to quit recently, and honestly, I don't blame them.
Has anyone else ran into this guy or had to deal with his BS? How did you handle getting switched to a different fleet manager at KLLM without him completely tanking your miles while you waited?

you really want to ruin his day save all of that leave the company and file unemployment and just sit on it. when they challenge it send that over and claim that he was causing you serious mental health issues over what he was doing be sure to name him in the complaint. obviously no one cares that hes doing that so it continues.
you will be awarded the unemployment this messes up Financials for the company and because youre naming him as the direct cause of your emotional distress he is now very highly at risk of losing his job.
you should probably remove his last name in this post so it doesnt get removed. and it would be a shame if someone emailed this thread to hr at kllm

For people wondering how unemployment claims can affect a company financially: in many states, employers pay unemployment insurance taxes based partly on their claim history. For example, in my state my unemployment tax rate can increase significantly if former employees successfully claim unemployment against the business. A higher rate can remain in effect for years, increasing payroll costs for every employee. That doesn’t automatically mean an employee is “hurting the company” maliciously, and one claim alone usually won’t destroy a business, but repeated successful claims absolutely can raise operating costs for employers.
