PSU Size Choice For Future Proof RTX 50 Series Build

I am building a new 1440p gaming PC with Ryzen 7 9800X3D and planning to use an RTX 5080 now but might upgrade to a higher end card later. I need help choosing the right power supply.
My current plan is an 850W 80 Plus Gold fully modular unit. Is this enough for good headroom and future upgrades or should I go 1000W to be safer?
I want reliable and quiet operation without overspending. Any recommendations on brands or wattage for this setup?

Power supplies are one of the easiest things to move to your new build when you upgrade. Because of this, I would try to future pure proof things. If you’re thinking 850 then maybe look at it 1000 W.

SPL Tier list. You want a Tier A 3.x at least 1000W.

If you're spending this much the build, get a top tier PSU.
Grab a 1000w, which you PROBABLY don't need, but also, you're hooking up like $1600 worth of hardware to it, make it as bullet proof as possible.
I'm a Seasonic fanboy for higher tier builds. They generally have fantastic reliability long term and a solid warranty.
I see people recommended Montech a lot, I don't know much about them. I HAVE had a psu die on me and eat my cpu and motherboard along with it. I've never had a single problem with a Seasonic PSU. And $70 for peace of mind in this arena was always worth it to me, especially with the amount you're spending on the hardware around it.
