Any word on when the new Air Force Flight Test Museum is meant to open to the public? (photo not mine)

According to the website, its anticipated to open to the public in 2026, but is there any idea when a opening date will be released?

I was just looking at this today, and unless the website just hasn't been updated, the only thing that shows funded and complete is the site prep. Every other project phase shows a cost, but no indication of funding or completion status.

You are correct. The slab is poured and the "frame" of the hanger is up....but no roof, walls, or other improvements.

I remember a couple years I got a tour of the base with a bunch of rich people when they were trying to get people to invest in the door for it lol. They said it was gonna cost like $400,000 if I remember correctly. That’s the last update I heard on it

A life-size ai-powered, animatronic Kelly Johnson would be a great addition.
