I'm quite new to pc building and I never heard of galax gpu before. They are about the same price for 3070ti (about 10$ diff) in my area, is one of them better than another?

Stay away from Galax, as in they are not trustworthy.

Bullshit. I have a KFA2 (Galax in Europe) 3080Ti and it runs flawless.

Friends and I have had nothing but bad experiences with them.

I used to own a MSI mainboard which was only trouble. Does that make MSI a crappy company? No. Do I buy MSI products? Also No.
People prefer Asus over Gigabyte, yet I personally never had problem with any Gigabyte products.
I prefer Intel over AMD because I owned an AMD CPU (Athlon) before and they were subpar. I still don't know if I will ever go back to AMD.
I would never buy an AMD GPU because ATI products (especially drivers) in the past were crap and it seems they still can be. Even though the quality got significantly better.
Point is, bad past experiences result in opinions and avoidance of said companies, which is OK on a personal level.
But saying Galax ONLY produce crap and should be avoided at all cost is stupid.
