Spending time with the people I love. Just lost my Mum, I really feel how short life is now. Looking for a better work/life balance so I have more time doing the things I want to do.

I'd like to make a meaningful contribution to science, which sounds horribly grandiose but I think that almost all contributions to science are meaningful in some sense -- everything in science is built on what went before and seemingly insignificant results can feed into something useful further down the line. I'd settle for publishing a paper I was happy with.
And I'd like to stay as active as possible for as long as possible, and spend plenty of time outdoors... but this part is already going wrong (thanks, bone density)

Immediate this year - save and plan last bits towards wedding later this year and also keep an eye on my Dad who has had a healthscare
Long term - prioritise my own health and fitness a bit more, bring hobbies back into my life, consider moving closer to my Dad (currently 3 hours away) and have some damn good holidays while I'm still young with disposable income

I want to see more of the world and i'd like to help people while I do it. I carried someone's suitcase up and down a bunch of steps in Tokyo, which probably isn't going to make the world a better place, but it helped them a little bit.

Love, life, beauty! Now also a bit of mindfulness too. The "life" bit can mean many different things to different people, but I think it's about enjoying and exploring the variety of the world out there, and learning to surf the waves of life. Love is about intimacy, kindness and compassion; security. Beauty is linked to mindfulness - taking the time to really look at the world and how wonderful and beautiful it is 😊

Right now, making sure my father has the best end of life he can. Once he's gone, I'll have quite a lot of picking up and reassessing to do!
