Planning on slapping a mid drive on a 26 or 27.5er.
I can either buy two kits with batteries used:
Bbshd 52v14ah uart
Cyc photon gen 1 52v10ah
Commute is 34 miles round trip. I can charge at work. Total route is moderately hilly (flat sections and long shallow, but not too shallow, climbs)
Just looking for advice since I am leaning towards the bbshd

forgot to mention that i still need to buy a bike lol

seems a little steep for the bbshd. i'd go for the cyc since it's truly premium quality

You think so? From ali and 52 volt I’m hitting about 570 without a battery though it is the CAN version

Not a fan of the Tongsheng TSDZ8 or TSDZ16?? Ive been very impressed with the 8 on my 26"

Not that I’m not a fan, but the the bbshd is just available locally cheaper than I could get the kit for from Ali and with a battery

I can only speak to the bbshd as I strapped one on my long tail about 3 months ago and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. With that UART version I highly recommend getting the eggrider display if it doesn’t already have one. Being able to tune it in the field is very handy.
