Mine can, but thats because I taught them, school definitely didn't. Taught a few of their friends too, well just enough so they could make their signatures.

It said “seniors” and I saw cursive and automatically thought it was from a senior citizen. Which made it very confusing when I read it 😂

Not the younger ones lol! You should see my 10 year old’s chicken scratch.. I can confirm they no longer teach cursive writing/comprehension in my school district. OP’s student must have been on the cusp of the regression.. 😅😮‍💨

Thank you. This was the class I started out with in August of 2022 when they were freshman and I was new at the school. Some of them I had twice for different subjects.

This coming Tuesday, I plan on giving a very heartfelt/ emotional message to the graduating class at their senior breakfast.
