My favorites were:
G.I. Joe, Transformers, Voltron, Bionic Six, Silverhawks, Thundercats, Duck Tales, Gummi Bears, Dungeons and Dragons, the Real Ghostbusters, Kidd Video, Mask, Heathcliff, the Chipmunks (goes to the movies), Tom and Jerry (Freq Quimby version)
My least favorites:
Thundarr, Galtar, Darkwing Duck, Talespin, Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers, COPS, The Karate Kid, Rambo, most of the attempts to take a blockbuster movie and turn into a cartoon, most of hanna barbera, and of the Chuck Jone stuff..
I also actually hated Nickelodeon growing up. There was almost never any of the good cartoons on there.
What about you?

Loved Robotech, hated He-Man, and Rainbow bright. I had a paper route, had my own TV that I bought. All 3 came on at the same time. My brother and sister would fight over their He-Man and Rainbow bright, which I couldn't stand because of how simple they were. Recycled animation frames, plots that wrapped up in 30 minutes, always the same plot (Bad guy does something, good guys defeat them)
Robotech was a breath of fresh air.

I am a dude, but I also liked Jem and the Hogograms. It was on before school.

I really enjoyed Thundarr.
By the time Gargoyles came along I was a little too old for cartoons. Yet I found time for the show because it had a literary level to it.

I agree with your favorites and would add: Mighty Orbots, Gargoyles, Spiderman and His Amazing Friends, and Galaxy Rangers.
