2.5-3 Year Build - Budget $800–900.

Hi, so I'm from India and like we all know the market is in a horrible state especially with the added taxes and importation fee etc here.
My current set up is a GTX 1050 2gb paired with an i3 - 6th gen alongside 8gb ram, built back in 2017.
Now I've only got a budget as mentioned above, i was thinking of building a pc to last me for the next 2-3 years or even 2 years in general.
My only goal is to play the games I've never been able to play before stuff like RDR2, Subnautica, The last of us, Mafia, RE, CS2, Cyberpunk, Forza etc.
My old gpu could barely run these games and i never had a good experience.
So my only need is 2 to max 3 years with this build before i sell it off to a friend or something and make a proper pc in the future.
So I've picked 3 GPU options and I'd like everyone's advice on what seems the best for now and the next 2 years.
I'm aiming for 65-85 stable fps, medium to high settings mixed on 1080p, no RT or anything of that sort and I don't mind whatever the new features are like FSR and DLSS.
I already have peripherals so no issues there.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 — $125
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M Gaming X WIFI6 — $108
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 3200MHz C16 ×2 (16GB total) — $118
PSU: Cooler Master MWE Bronze 550W V3 — $42
SSD: Gigabyte 4000E 500GB Gen4 NVMe — $80
Cabinet: Ant Esports 511 Air 5F — $48
Storage Note: Already own a 2TB HDD for bulk storage
Total (without GPU): $522
The 3 GPU I've shortlisted are.
Asus Dual RX 7600 8GB – $266
Zotac RTX 5050 8GB – $321
INNO3D RTX 5060 8GB – $356
Which one would y'all recommend?

Rtx 5060, get a better cpu, 5700x/5800x
TimothyX7@reddit (OP)
Thanks! Will try for a better cpu.
the11devans@reddit
Don't bother with a higher core count CPU; it will make no difference in games. Invest it into the GPU or just save the money.
Dwarf-Eater@reddit
If you can afford a 5500x3d off AliExpress you will have a great build!
circ-u-la-ted@reddit
If all you want is to play 5-year-old games I feel like you can just pick up a recent CPU with integrated graphics and not bother getting a discrete GPU at all. Should save you some coin and then if you want to play newer stuff later you just add a graphics card.
JumboPancake@reddit
Cyberpunk on an iGPU sounds like a nightmare.
circ-u-la-ted@reddit
From what I'm seeing, the Arc B390 is at least as powerful as Cyberpunk's recommended GTX 1060 (for 1080p gameplay).
the11devans@reddit
Uh the B390 is only available on Panther Lake mobile chips.
Lucario-Mega@reddit
RX 9060XT 8GB is better than 5060
G-nome420@reddit
For this case I think the upscaling and frame gen from nvdia will keep the platform alive for longer than amd would with raw power
Lucario-Mega@reddit
Didn’t op say he doesn’t care about dlss or whatever features?
G-nome420@reddit
True he did. Missed that. Seems interesting given his budget and what he wants to play but to each their own
TimothyX7@reddit (OP)
I actually said "No to RT" and that I don't mind the FSR/DLSS features haha, i must've not phrased it correctly.
G-nome420@reddit
Understood. Sounds like you have a solid build together. I think no matter what you go with your options are solid and you will be happy with the performance. We are splitting hairs in the comments I feel.
TimothyX7@reddit (OP)
Appreciate it and I feel majority of the comments lean towards the 5060, unfortunately at my place it's not so easy to get used GPUs.
So for my plan i think I'm going with the 5060.
It's my first time posting here and I'm thankful for everyone helping.
G-nome420@reddit
Keep in mind that the 5050 outperforms the 1080ti and has all of the modern nvdia features. I think you 100% go 5050 and spend the extra on a better cpu
Mravac_Kid@reddit
That's the wrong way around. This is an interim system, so no real use getting a better CPU that will be bottlenecked by the GPU.
G-nome420@reddit
I think bottleneck is way less relevant than people think, and Nvidias frame gen and dlss make it even more negligible imo. I think the best experience is a good cpu for intensive games and relying on frame gen around this price point. I would completely agree with you 3-5 years ago.
Mravac_Kid@reddit
But a 5050 is pretty weak, it's not gonna have a smooth framegen experience anyway.
G-nome420@reddit
Patently false
Riipp3r@reddit
You should go 5060 and you honestly should take advantage of DLSS. I know you said you don't mind it but it will be a big gamechanger. My 4060 before I upgraded to 5090 was good for 1080p high settings 99 percent of games.
Dpek1234@reddit
Just to mention
Check the psu tierlist and try to get something with a better rateing if possible
Something may be in a very similar price range but have a vastly higher rateing
Mravac_Kid@reddit
At the $300-ish price point you're better off looking at a used 3070 or possibly even 3080Ti, they're a fair bit more powerful than the 5050. The 5060 is a better choice for sure, but see if you can somehow fit the 16 GB version in your budget. Or even a 9060XT, similar power but usually somewhat cheaper.
You can also probably save a bit by using your existing RAM and just adding another 8 GB.
Redgfxr@reddit
if you can still afford it, the 5060. Still, at least here in the US, a 9060 XT 8GB goes for the same price.
CSv3n@reddit
Honestly, I recommend GPU: Intel Arc B580.
I've been using this GPU for a while now and price to performance is absolutely insane!
TimothyX7@reddit (OP)
I would've taken a look into it for sure but unfortunately it's not available where I'm at, and the places that did have it now list it as out of stock, bummer.
Thank you tho for your recommendation.
JumboPancake@reddit
If you can swing the 5060 you should be chilling. I recently did a build with a 9600X/5060 and I could get 65-80 fps in cyberpunk at 1080p with the raytracing ultra preset. 100% playable and enjoyable
TimothyX7@reddit (OP)
Thank you! Will try and get the 5060 and yeah lmao I just want a smooth experience cause I've missed out on some gems for almost a decade with the 1050.
JumboPancake@reddit
And compared to your current setup it will blow you away. I think you'll have a good time
