Thoughts on Drones under the 2nd Amendment

With drones changing the modern battlefield dramatically……should we be protecting drones rights to preemp future government infringements?
Smooth_Voronoi@reddit
Please no Ai slop.
Drones are in-direct control of the weapon, and therefore you are not baring the arm.
LeRoiCasoar@reddit
Ai garbage
1bteb@reddit
It actually does not look bad
Smooth_Voronoi@reddit
Not the point.

Just don’t try and count fingers.

One of the hands looks bad, rest are fine. Again not perfect but also not bad to illustrate ops point.
Cannoli72@reddit (OP)
there is always a complainer that completely misses the point

“The AI did not generate a perfect image”

Reading right to left makes this a little goofy

No lie, a neighbor across the pond buzzed me with a drone while I was walking my dog around the lake and it pissed me off. After loitering and debating whether I should go in this guys yard and confront him, and contemplating it for five minutes while looking right at him, I reluctantly decided to keep going on my way. I essentially decided to give him a pass, but if it happens again I am going to pay him a visit. If I see that drone in my yard I am going to unload on it unapologetically.
I think drones are essentially like waving a gun in someone's face. A couple years ago I thought it was a toy. That notion is dead in the water. Those are weapons of mass destruction.

Love it.
Drones can even the playing field between people who had little chance, against armored/armed opponents.
Imagine a group of unarmed peaceful protestors being brutalized by armed gunmen in body armor, using tear gas and sound cannons.
Drones would help even the playing field similar to what the ukraine is doing, with smaller numbers.

I'm not really for drone weapons for civilian or government use. I feel the same for nuclear warheads. I'm of the opinion the average person should not have them.
However, so long as the government does possess these weapons, and the 2nd amendment clearly states arms, we should be afforded the same allowances as the government.

Recreational McNukes.
chedder@reddit
Why is that, drones are the great economic equalizer of the battlefield, the last time an innovation like this happened was the proliferation of cheap mass produced guns.
Tanks have always been very good and hard to stop, modern FPV drones are a low cost low solution to effectively neutralize vastly superior tank forces. They also give a large advantage to home turf defenders

Yes yes yes
balalaikaboss@reddit
Yes. Next question.

2A isn’t a suggestion. Though I see no practical use for that.
hoppynsc@reddit
The Founding Fathers intentional used generic terms like 'arms' in the 2nd Amendment because they understood technology would advance over time. Rights stay the same but its what they apply to that changes.
CzechHunterBiden@reddit
Nice, I’d save and spread it if it wasn’t AI slop. Maybe I’ll even draw it.
Cannoli72@reddit (OP)
no need to. AI already replaced your inactivity, in promoting liberty 🤪
Lone_Wolf_555@reddit
The 10th amendment should cover this. The constitution does not grant the government the ability to regulate drones therefore it can’t.
Z3roTimePreference@reddit
Unfortunately the 10th seems to be one of the most ignored amendments...
TuringGPTy@reddit
Recreational drone use already has a bunch of FAA regulations.
Majestic_Tooth_4@reddit
drones are just tools like any other weapon so yeah they should fall under same protections as firearms but government will probably try to regulate them separate because they scared of people having air superiority
