A friend asked for hot dog cake for his birthday. Despite looking and smelling truly nauseating it was honestly pretty okay, and everyone ate a portion. No one wanted seconds. I spent a long time working out the recipe, so I will probably make it again as a gag for a different setting.

Goddam I’m tired of this comment being used so often for braindead people who can’t tell reality from fiction. This is called an aspic and is a savory jello mold rather than a sweet dessert. They’ve existed fir centuries and were a fad in the 70’s and yes people still make them these days
