What is the best canned/bottled cold coffee in the UK?

I have searched far and wide, and tried many different canned/bottled coffees but cannot seem to find one I like. I’m looking for one that doesn’t just taste of milk and sugar, but not an americano. Specifically looking for a latte/flat white and can be cows milk or oat milk.
So far, I have tried the following brands:
- Jimmy’s
- Starbucks
- Barista Coffee Co (yuck)
- Emmi
- Arctic Coffee
The problem is, they’re all way too sweet! The sweetness totally overwhelms any flavour of coffee. The best I’ve tried so far is Jimmy’s, but it’s still too sweet. I don’t mind buying things online either. Let me know please and thank you 🙏

The only one I'll go for these days is Grind. Bit hard to find but usually in Sainsbury's. Their flat white is great!

Was considering Grind but the sugar content looks kinda high no? I love Grind coffee so might just take the risk. Another one to add to my trip to Sainsbury’s tomorrow 🤣

Jimmys is my favourite followed by Starbucks, Arctic coffee isn't v good imo
Tomatoftw1996@reddit
I really like the Arctic Coffee range. Decent balance between quality and price
Doomscrolleuse@reddit
Wonky coffee have a good range, including a flat white.
FlissMarie@reddit (OP)
Have you had it before? I was actually on their website today but the sugar content of each drink looks really high so that put me off 😭
Doomscrolleuse@reddit
I've enjoyed them - but to be fair I like Arctic too so our tastes might differ!

You can get Nescafe concentrate and either just add it to milk/water.
BinFluid@reddit
It's the only Nestle product I buy because there is no alternative even remotely close
christofilth@reddit
Frustratingly true, other than brewing your own espresso of course.
karennotkaren1891@reddit
Currently addicted to this! It's so good
tiorzol@reddit
The Oatly ones are nice. Bit sweet tho
Doomergeneration@reddit
Jimmys Strong
Beautiful_Trip@reddit
I honestly find jimmys the worst somehow sweet and bitter at the same time and in the wrong way for a coffee drink
Dolamed@reddit
There is big bottles of Califia ice coffee available in certain supermarkets.
FlissMarie@reddit (OP)
Fab, will go and have a look at these as well!
wakou2@reddit
Waitrose do Califa. Almond milk variety as well!
Traditional_Rice_123@reddit
Ueshima is definitely worth trying their canned coffee.
Ballbag94@reddit
Imo nothing beats just making your own cold brew and using that to mix to taste, it's super easy to do and takes like 5 mins of actual effort because it's mostly passive
boringfantasy@reddit
Used to drink Arctic till I saw the sugar content.
I just went and bought a Nespresso machine and have probably saved money not buying canned/takeaway coffees. Just espresso + milk and you're golden
FlissMarie@reddit (OP)
Yeah I have a rather expensive coffee machine so I could do this. If this leads me to nowhere then I might just go ahead and stop being so lazy 😅
boringfantasy@reddit
You can get the pod ones for under 100 quid! It’s a great investment. Trust me, do it!
flipflopcuntflaps@reddit
Not the one with the equivalent of four cups of coffee in that make you sit at the kitchen table grappling for life whilst your girlfriend comforts you
sillwuka@reddit
Starbucks doubleshot espresso in the smaller can is decent.
solpadeineOD@reddit
Good shout, I like the triple aswell
Maleficent_Day_3869@reddit
it’s so sweet though!
craigus17@reddit
Nope everything canned or prepacked is like 90% sugar. You’re going to be better off making your own. Espresso, milk and ice in a flask. Job done.
cameragirl17@reddit
Aldi or Lidl protein coffee is really nice
Appropriate-Roof1422@reddit
protein coffee - what else am I going to see?
nemmalur@reddit
Have you looked in some import shops? There don’t seem to be many brands in the UK yet, but try looking for Mr Brown (Taiwan), UCC (Japan) or Douwe Egberts (Netherlands). Never seen a canned flat white though.
FlissMarie@reddit (OP)
I haven’t but I shall do! Thanks for the recommendations ☺️
hotbutnotathot@reddit
rodds. final answer
Organic-Hippo-3273@reddit
Yeah I came to say Rodds too
FlissMarie@reddit (OP)
Ooh you can buy them at Sainsbury’s I’ve just seen. Will go tomorrow and give them a try, thanks!
hotbutnotathot@reddit

FlissMarie@reddit (OP)
Oh fab there’s a Mogzy’s not far from me so can go there too! Thanks 🙏

Starbucks coffee frappucino
Additional_Plant_539@reddit
The Costa one tastes coffee AF to me, but I'm also not a regular coffee drinker so 🤷
_yxs_@reddit
Califia, no doubt
LouTheOM@reddit
Starbucks skinny, Emmi skinny or Emmi protein are my favourites, but all these iced coffee bevs are best over ice or blended with ice! Which defeats the point unfortunately.
Maleficent_Day_3869@reddit
i was going to suggest jimmy’s. it’s my favourite!
FlissMarie@reddit (OP)
Yeah looks like from other posts that I need to take a trip to Sainsbury’s tomorrow 😅
Maleficent_Day_3869@reddit
let me know what you think if you buy the extra strong jimmys!
ExitNo48@reddit
Sorry not helpful but I also haven't found anything decent either!
FlissMarie@reddit (OP)
Really annoying isn’t it. I’ve wasted so much money buying different types but just can’t find one I’d want to buy again.
