Looking to sell grandparent's homes located in North Dallas, near Midway Hollow and Preston Hollow. They will need to be refurbished or torn down. Residential preferred but open to commercial. Thank you so much!

Just FYI, you don't want to use a random Realtor from Reddit to sell a home in Preston Hollow.. and this is coming from a broker in the area. I'm not here to sell you or myself, just letting you know there is something called "geographic competency," and 99% of agents on Reddit do 1-2 deals a year and don't live anywhere near Preston Hollow. There is also an off-market FB group that only certain Realtors are a part of for Park Cities and off-market teardowns, trades and buyer/seller needs.
Feel free to DM and happy to connect you with some solid agents, Again not trying to sell myself here, just want what will be best for your grandparents.
Do your research

Thank you for this! I appreciate the caution. I'm being selective with who I reach out to and have ignored DMs where it's clear they didn't read or comprehend my very short post, and I'm also googling everyone as well. And we'll be getting multiple opinions and I review all legal documents thoroughly! I'm gonna DM you for that invite, thank you so much!

Whatever you do, get multiple opinions before signing anything.

Saw another commenter talking about having someone hyper local, which I definitely agree with, or somebody that has at least sold a good amount of homes down there. We’d definitely be the latter. We also offer a remodel program that can help with these refurbishments you’re talking about.
Look up 326 W Hickery in an Argyle. Seller moved out of state and gave us 200k to remodel it. He was initially going to list for around 1 but we told him with investment he could make more. With our own vendors we got it all done for 118k and still sold it for 1.3. So he saved 80k and still made 200k more than he’d have likely gotten before.
So if their place needs that level of remodel, I’d be happy to discuss it further with you. In this market it’s definitely recommended.
Our team is the Buehler Group, we’ve served DFW for 40 years and we’ve sold a fair few in those areas over the years.

Preston Severn is absolutely incredible. I am familiar with his work as a broker, a buyer’s representative and a seller’s representative. He fought so hard for my husband and I during an incredibly challenging market a few years ago, and landed us a dream home.

ngl north dallas land alone can be worth crazy money now even if the houses themselves need major work

Do you need an agent that can work both residential and commercial or experience in both?

Hey, I’ve worked with several folks in selling their homes from this sub, and have a list of buyers who are looking for teardown properties. Happy to help if you’re interested. Shoot me a DM and we can chat more.
