Cranking up the new Hi-Point 1095TS 10mm with aluminum case Blazers

Say what you want to about Hi-Points, but my 995 carbine is awesome to shoot and really accurate, so I bought a 1095TS 10mm. I got it out this morning, and I think it's shooting as well as my 9mm! I'm ringing steel at 50 yards with just the factory sights, and I'm impressed with the aluminum soft point Blazers.

Hi-points and aluminum case ammo go together like peanut butter and ladies.
Also tbh if you couldn't hit steel from 50 yards with a carbine, I would be concerned about either your ability or the gun itself

Mag with mixed steel and brass ammo is evidence photo clone correct.

I think the more apt comparison here is "Forrest and jenny"

I would not use aluminum case ammo in a direct blowback operated gun.

how come?
Winner_Pristine@reddit
Blowback guns are not mechanically locked while firing so the case could still be under pressure when the bolt starts moving to the rear. Aluminum cases are weaker than brass and steel so there is a greater risk of case rupture. It's probably ok most of the time, I would just play it safe and use brass or steel im blowback actions.
Just Google "aluminum case ammo in blowback guns" for more information.

Too late. I just got one box and it was fine.

And my Walther Hammerli 22 is doing great, too, but such a contrast to the 10mm slinging the steel halfway back 😁

Oooo... I like these Hammerli 22s... You need some wood grips now... Very nice 1911.... 😎

Yeah - I like these but I could see if my Rock Island 45 grips would go on here.
