The problem with the PPK is you have to replace the barrel if you want it threaded.

1/2 x 28. I use my dead air Mojave on it. Just make sure to use fixed barrel spacer or direct thread without piston.

Have they fixed the frame cracking issues with these yet? My understanding is the 30x improves reliability over the 3032 but there are still problems. Anybody have first hand experience?

Yes, Underwood makes a +P self defense round and Buffalo Bore makes some as well. I think the Hornady Critical defense is loaded a little hotter then normal too.

There’s .32acp then there’s 7.65 Browning. US manufacturers load to the former (lighter) while Euro manufacturers (IE PPU) load to the latter.

I had one, mine had feed issues with all ammo, it would always jam after a round or two, even with the normal mags and 30x mags

I think the frame cracking issue is largely resolved. The other issue that plagues these is the hinge pin breaking. To fix that, I would take the pin out and clean all the oil and grease off and then lock tight it.
Overall, mine had really tight tolerances on the slide and the magazine sat ever so slightly high. I polished the magazine catch and smoothed the top of the notch on the magazine itself. It was not what I would expect from Beretta, but an excellent purchase for $231 after rebate.

my brother got the 20X which is basically the same thing in .22LR and it's really comfortable in the hand, I can only imagine the .32ACP version would be a really comfortable carry piece.
the ejection angle is hilariously vertical on his though and it yeets brass directly into your collar

We got my wife one of these and lol it just yeets cases straight back over her head. Cases were hitting the wall behind us at the range. If we get put on the far lane sometimes they land in the trashcan in the corner.
