Looking for ideas of things to do with the family this weekend. It's my husband's birthday! We have two kiddos. One is 7 and other is a toddler. Weather is set to be miserable so ideally something that doesn't mean being outside or at least rely on it! Hit me with your best ideas localish!

Mk museum is always a good day out, the phone room is surprisingly fun and my kid loved the old shops bit when he was a toddler

I recently went to Tenpin near the station/network rail, and couldn’t believe how much there was to do for a family. It’s like a Centre Parcs without the pool

“Alongside bowling, Tenpin Milton Keynes also features karaoke rooms, laser tag, escape rooms and arcade games, giving you even more ways to enjoy your visit and making it one of the leading indoor entertainment destinations in Milton Keynes”

If the weather holds out they have a free out door cinema at Furtho Manor Farm on Sunday. Showing Moana and Greatest Showman

Heron’s Lodge Guide Centre is holding its annual May Fete this Saturday, 12–4 pm. There’s a slight chance of rain at 3 pm, but there is a building on site for sheltering. Kam Tong Garden Chinese restaurant is nearby and sits right next to a lake, so it's a great spot for a walk afterward.

Wetherspoons is good for the family before (I think) 8PM when it comes to food & drink! Could also check out a few libraries and/or museums, but I'm not sure if your kiddos would be all too interested in that?
Willen Lake is a lot of fun, even just walking about. I enjoyed it as a kid, especially considering I got to pet a lot of dogs ahah. Plenty of café areas in case the weather gets too bad.
There's also a lovely little charity shop up in the Kingston Tesco, me and my mum loved spending hours there. Diane (i think her name was) that works there is absolutely wonderful as well.
I'm not too sure what your budget is, but those are the things I had fun doing as a kid, and the adults liked doing as well. All relatively cheap too. :]
