This one is a Hobie Mirage Adventure/Revolution 16. It does have outriggers. The Hobie inflatable sidekick outriggers are seen in the video. They work very well. My kayak handles well unwind. This model, as with the adventure island or tandem, has a dagger/center board slot and I use a Hobie dagger board to help with unwind travel.
Ah! I just rewatched the video and indeed see the outriggers now. Very nice boat! Did you buy it new? I couldn’t believe how much they were selling for and how few used ones were on the market (presumably because no one wants to part with theirs!).
I found mine on consignment at a Portland, OR kayak shop about 6 months ago. They wanted $800. I traded in a kayak and got $600 for it, then paid the rest with cash. They're very hard to find.
when my brother and I clipped bed sheets to oars on our canoe and blew our way across the ICW we thought were were the freaking kings of invention. I love tiny sailing boats!

It's a lot of fun. This one is a Hobie Adventure/Revolution 16.

I had a tandem island. One of my favorite rigs ever! Now I’m on a trawler, but still miss the simple fun of the Hobie.

Cool! Is this a Hobie Mirage but with no outriggers necessary? Does it heel over a bit? How does it handle going upwind?

That gnarly sunburn will be a reminder of your adventures! This looks like muddy water here in TX...

Please keep hands and feet inside the ride during operation :-)

More worried about his dick getting caught in a line since he's naked.

Also sun screen wouldn't be a bad idea either...

Thank you!

Anything special about this kayak? I see a lot of kayaks with the middle hole on the deck but I though it was for fishing pole
ComplexQuiet6790@reddit
That appears to be a Hobie Mirage, if I'm not mistaken.

Use sun screen!
