If reliability is your priority, what’s the best 3-row SUV for 2026?

I've been shopping around for a while now and I keep going back and forth between a few options. I have three kids and we do a lot of road trips, so breaking down in the middle of nowhere is not something I can afford to deal with. I've looked at the kia telluride, toyota sequoia, and the honda pilot but honestly the more I research the more confused I get. Some people swear by toyota for long term reliability but others say the telluride holds up just as well for way less money.
I don't need anything loaded with features, I just want something that starts every morning and doesn't drain my bank account on repairs after 80k miles. What are you guys actually driving and how has it held up over time?

I know it’s not a popular choice in the ‘buy a Toyota’ world, but we’re at almost 160k on a ‘17 Durango R/T and it just keeps rolling. Water pump at about 100k, couple of emissions sensors, drain the tailgate racetrack when it rains.

9 year old Dodge is the answer you came up with when someone asks about a reliable vehicle in 2026? Lol

It’s great. Any Dodge that makes it to 9 years *has* to be reliable… because the other 95% are already recycled into Celsius cans.

How has the fuel economy been on the 5.7 for longer road trips? That's one thing that keeps making me hesitate on it.

I loved my Toyota Highlander.

Honestly hadn't considered it that much but now I'm second guessing myself. How long did you have it and did you run into any major issues past 100k miles?

We traded it in at 70k for a mini van. Had a third kid. No issues
