URUGUAY FLYING SCHOOL

I’ve been offered a flight training program in Uruguay for around $55k USD including accommodation. The school says the full training would take about 10 months, and if it exceeds that duration, the accommodation costs would still be covered by the flying school.
I wanted to ask — how is Uruguay for flight training overall?
- Is it safe for international students?
- How’s the weather for flying?
- Are there good flying hours availability / less delays?
- Any issues with maintenance, instructors, or aviation standards?
- Has anyone here trained in Uruguay or knows someone who did?
I’m an Indian student currently exploring options outside Europe due to cost and delays, so I’d really appreciate honest feedback or experiences before making a decision.
