Build Me a God PC

I’m a lifetime console player looking to buy a gaming PC for the first time. I’ve always dreamt of having a PC capable of running competitive FPS games at insanely high frames, playing Minecraft modded so heavily it almost looks like a different game, and playing hyper-modded 8K versions of my favorite classic games stuck in lower resolution. I’ve recently found myself in a financial situation where this is suddenly possible and I want the most powerful, even over the top excessive gaming PC that’s on the market.
I know this is achievable with a less powerful computer.
I am not asking for what I could get away with, I want the BEST stuff and I need a place to start. Build me a PC that you would build with zero budget whatsoever. I’m pretty early into this process and I’ve been having a hard time finding definitive answers. I would love opinions and any other good information for a first time PC builder.
Please do not be annoying and suggest a less expensive computer.
I want a god PC, please let me know what you would do. Thanks :)

rtx 6000 pro + a 9950x3d2

I feel like there’s a lot more to a computer than that lmfao but I appreciate the start

everything else pre much doesnt matter and is mostly just personal pref, best cooler would be the galahad ii trinity 360mm perf tho, x870e msi godlike, 8tb 9100pro x3 for mobo and storage ig

In the us or elsewhere. Is there a microcenter?
BlueberryNugget11@reddit (OP)
US sorry I forgot to add that
RumbleTheCassette@reddit
Thh if you're gonna buy like an $8,000 PC and you don't necessarily want to build it yourself, Micro Center is the way to go. You can buy it all there and they can build it for you for like $200.
Anyway as others said, get a 5090 as your GPU and a 9950X3D2 as your CPU. Minimum 64 GB DDR5, maybe 128 GB.
BlueberryNugget11@reddit (OP)
Super good to know, I think that could be the move. Definitely checking out micro center, thank you bro
five__head@reddit
Doy ou want to build yourself tho? And which microcenter?
GeassAye@reddit
Microcenter has the best bundle deals. And you could probably buy everything there.
BlueberryNugget11@reddit (OP)
Very cool, definitely going to be checking this place out
Naive_Cardiologist_6@reddit
look at the Hyte Y60. put a nice power supply in there.
Aggressive_Deer_7072@reddit
9800X3D + RTX 5090 + 64/96GB DDR5 + 4TB Gen5 NVMe + OLED 4K 240hz monitor
basically build the type of pc where the electricity bill becomes part of the gaming experience 😭
Diarrheuh@reddit
Can you hire me
BlueberryNugget11@reddit (OP)
If you can build me a good PC lmao
Diarrheuh@reddit
5090, 9950x3d2, aorus elite x870 is all you need or Asrock x870e taichi if you want overkill, 128 gigs of ddr5, 4tb WD SN8100, 1000W Titanium psu, and a big case to fit a 420mm cpu cooler in like a g500a, or a fractal design north XL. And all surrounded by nice Noctua fans. I’m hired!
ResoluteRevolter@reddit
No thread ripper? Hoh boy that's a bottleneck waiting to explode on heavily modded minecraft
Diarrheuh@reddit
He could do a threadripper
ResoluteRevolter@reddit
Just messing witcha homie no game can max out a 9950x3d most likely for the next decade lol
BlueberryNugget11@reddit (OP)
Seeing a lot of 5090 love, this rocks. Thank you so much really awesome list I appreciate your time a lot

DM’d you

A no-compromise build. Have fun.

Something like this

Choose a case of your choice. If you are insane, get a 5090 instead.
BlueberryNugget11@reddit (OP)
Dude THANK you this is a really great resource to reference.
Is the 5090 as good as it gets or are there other ones better for games?
xyzzydourden@reddit
Technically the RTX 6000 PRO will beat a 5090 in some games like Cyberpunk, and will beat the pants off a 5090 in anything AI-related, but it's also 4 times the price of a 5090. Maybe you really have an unlimited budget, maybe you want to buy something gaming focussed.
theSkareqro@reddit
That's the best. End of. Until 6090 comes out this or something
aCuria@reddit
- 9950X3D2
- RTX 5090
- Sandisk SN8100 8TB, 3 pieces
- Seasonic PRIME PX 2200w
- ROG CROSSHAIR X870E EXTREME
KnowledgeablyFrizzy@reddit
8k modded gaming is basically a meme right now nobody actually does that at playable frames so maybe start with 1440p high refresh and see what you actually need before dropping ten grand on a gpu
LightBeerIsForGirls@reddit
2 Threadrippers with an rtx 6000
anchoredcondominium@reddit
For 8K modded games you're looking at high end GPU territory, probably RTX 4080 or 4090, and even then frame rates will dip depending on the game. Microcenter bundles are solid for saving money on the CPU and motherboard pairing.
GeassAye@reddit
Will you be doing only gaming or work as well?
Ryzen 9 series are mostly for high intensity work. With more cores to help woth things like 3d rendering and stuff. Workstation pc. It doesnt improve any performance on gaming.
Ryzen 7 is for gaming
BlueberryNugget11@reddit (OP)
Yeah but I imagine/hope school work would be super manageable on a PC strong enough for these games lmao.
Not doing anything crazy like rendering or stuff like that
kemicalkontact@reddit
Astral 5090, Ryzen 9950x3d, 6000MT/s CL30 RAM.
You can build around that.
BlueberryNugget11@reddit (OP)
SWEET this is already very helpful
ayoubbellahcene@reddit
bro's like build me a good pc and don't be annoying. what else do you want master, bring you the whip and bend over for you LOL
