I just needed to share with people who understand my excitement at seeing Karl Urban at the Detroit airport this evening.

I was waiting for my wife to arrive on a late night flight when I saw a bunch guys with Motor City Comic Con badges gathering by the arrivals door. I thought, “Hey, maybe I’ll see someone famous.”

And then a few minutes later, I did!

It was just me and the Comic Con guys standing there since it was after midnight. He said hello to them and then smiled and nodded at me. I’m sure it was very obvious that I recognized him.

I was so excited to tell my wife, and her response was: “Who’s that?” 💀
