Can anyone suggest how to wash her feet?

I’ve been watching episodes of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes lately and been noticing some familiar faces.
Independent-Smoke-68@reddit
Can an ensign get some context?
Picard-Maneuver@reddit
She’s on that episode with the “space Irish” people.
carltheredred@reddit
Is his the worst episode in all Trekdom, or is that just for us Irish people?
decidedlyindecisive@reddit
Unfortunately there are enough episodes of Space Africans: A Study In Racism that I'm not sure which one you mean. Are you talking TNG or OS?
carltheredred@reddit
Code of Honor, very early TNG.
Banjo-Oz@reddit
Frakes called it "a racist piece of shit" I believe.
Empigee@reddit
Fun fact: Garrett Wang never watched TNG during its first run, as whenever he tuned in, "Code of Honor" was on. He says in the end this was a good thing, as had he gotten into TNG, he would have been too intimidated to audition for Voyager.
Square-Knee9844@reddit
Please refresh my memory on space Africans in TOS.
carltheredred@reddit
Code of Honor. Very early TNG.
ValosAtredum@reddit
They’re asking about TOS, not TNG
carltheredred@reddit
Thanks, reddit did that annoying thing where it sent me a notification for a reply to someone else's reply below me. Ended up responding to the wrong one.
ValosAtredum@reddit
Man, why did they decide to do that?? It’s so annoying!
psydkay@reddit
Maybe they are referring to the bronze face Klingons?
pacman529@reddit
Based on the "Jungle Gym" comment I'm guessing they mean TNG
sistemafodao@reddit
Does it count if they torture one Irish man consistently through a series? Because DS9 did that.
carltheredred@reddit
He wasn't just an Irish man, he was a union man.
Fabulous-Sea-1590@reddit
And the only enlisted man in Starfleet.
Captain_Hesperus@reddit
He deserves it tho
sistemafodao@reddit
Found the Spoonhead.

Not Irish, it's pretty bad. Sort of a cringe-masochist rewatch, if at all.
I was surprised to be reminded he had the beard in this one. It has hardcore first season vibes.

“Send in the clones”

Fair Haven is worse than Wash My Feet Girl (the guy with that awful accent from the Section 31 movie is something I'm choosing to forget).
taln2crana6rot@reddit
Am Irish and don’t really mind fair haven too much. “Delete the wife” is a classic.
ActorMonkey@reddit
What section 31 movie? Never heard of it. 😣
LeicaM6guy@reddit
No such thing. I mean, who would go through with such an awful idea.
fluentinflatuence@reddit
Objectively there’s worse, but your POV is understandable laddy.
pakrat1967@reddit
I don't understand why this episode gets so much hate. It's one of my favorites.
decidedlyindecisive@reddit
It's probably just the accents, costumes and plot. I wouldn't worry.
BearsBeetsBerlin@reddit
Quick question, how much hay do people in Ireland usually use in their houses? Like a bale or two? Do you add extra for special occasions?
WolfBST@reddit
Weren't they just regular Irish, just in Space?
leviticusreeves@reddit
It's shit like this that almost made Colm Meaney quit
Banjo-Oz@reddit
They nearly did to Colm what Sunbow's Transformers did to Casey Kassem in the 80's. For those who don't know, look up "Transformers Carbombya".
macboy@reddit
Her starship was Gaelicy Lass.

Trivia: for a few thousand years, “washing feet” was polite slang for having sex.

There’s an episode of that Holmes series with Marina Sirtis too.
Also for the record Jeremy Brett is by far the best Holmes.
StellaSlayer2020@reddit (OP)
The episode was on last week. I posted it earlier.
45runs@reddit
Pretty sure this guy can.

Start at the top, and work your way down?
funlovingguy9001@reddit
Yeah, Riker was interested in that process...lol

All the way down...
MyStinkingThrowaway@reddit
Dude I’ve been watching this too for the last few weeks! Spotted her instantly…quite the snake charmer according to Riker…fondest for Romain wildcats tooo
hollow4hollow@reddit
Ah, I see you’re watching The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes “The Speckled Band” starring Jeremy Brett S1E6 by Granada TV. This is not at all an overlapping special interest of mine.
Punner-the-Gr8@reddit
I love the Jeremy Brett Sherlock. I've rewatched them many times on YouTube. She's not as "Riker" hot back in the 1800's but still got Dr. Watson's attention.
Picard's brother (Jeremy Kemp) is in that same episode with her. "The Speckled Band"
Check out "The Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes Podcast" if you are really interested in that subject. I'm Type A so I love details and they bring them, in abundance!
csonnich@reddit
I have seen both of these shows so many times and somehow never made that connection!
Punner-the-Gr8@reddit
Also interesting is that the actor that played Sherlock's brother, Mycroft, in the BBC series was none other than Charles Gray who played "The Criminologist" in The Rocky Horror Picture Show - another one of my early life obsessions. Maybe Sherlock can help him find his neck. IYKYK.
Fun fact: he claims to have never seen TRHPS.

What ever you do, don’t let her catch you drinking or making your own alcohol.

You could try dragging her into the 24th century and show her a sonic shower.
