I just hit 500TT and I’m applying for Piedmont’s Cadet Program.

I’m 20, hold a CFI/CFII/MEI and an associate’s degree and I qualify for RATP. I teach at a school who has no affiliations through cadet programs and Piedmont looks like the best fit for me. Is there anyone out there who’s been through their cadet program? What can I do to make myself stand out more amongst applicants?

Just got my CFII and am coming up on 500 hours and haven’t had a chance to look at the cadet programs yet. Do you need an electronic logbook to verify hours for them, or how does that work? And what does the application process look like? Thank you in advance!

Will you be able to hit the 60hrs per month requirement? I’m applying after I get my multi layer this year but at my school you’re lucky to break 50 hours a month.

Do you know if the monthly hour requirement is for all cadets or only for those who take money?

Yup, i’m actively flight instructing and I’ll use the signing bonus to get some cheap block time worst case scenario
