I'd love some feedback on this event platform :)

Hallo!
I’ve been building a small social/event platform and I’m trying to figure out whether the core concept actually makes sense or if I’m just disappearing into my own rabbit hole.
Instead of building “another social media app”, I started building something that’s more like a modular space for local communities, collectives, venues, artists, organizers, and events.
Right now I’m focusing on alternative cinema in Ghent (Belgium), mainly because I wanted a small and manageable niche to seed manually.
I intentionally avoided over-designing the platform so far. I’ve mostly been building with very minimal styling and standard HTML behavior because I wanted to focus on structure, usability, flexibility, and interaction patterns before getting trapped in polishing UI.
I’m not really looking for design feedback yet.
I’m much more interested in conceptual feedback.
Thanks in advance! :)

Hey! This seems really cool! Could you go into more detail about how you see this site being used? Is this made for venue and event sharing around the world? I'm also wondering what the community tab is for?

Hey thank you! Right now, because of the chicken-and-the-egg-problem, I’m focusing solely on alternative cinema in Ghent (Belgium). I want a small and manageable niche to seed manually. The idea behind the community tab is that it could potentially be anything that a facebook group/page also can be (a fan/hobby club, a marketplace, a study group). In those communities it is possible to add chats, polls, photo galleries (working on that), lists, questionnaires, … And if I can add one last thing, my aim is to make all those communities and add-ons 100% customisable.
