how fucking high do you have to be to think you cant fry a burger in a sauce pan and decide to just go ahead and poach it?
AliveAndNotForgotten@reddit (OP)
A lot. But in my defense, these were frozen bricks
SoManyMinutes@reddit
Then thaw it you retard.
4non3mouse@reddit
well i will let you in on an amazing thing I learned in the 50 something years on this rock
it is perfectly fine and normal to cook a frozen burger patty
OversizedMicropenis@reddit
After you add water tho, right?
BatDynamite@reddit
You usually don't have to. The moisture in the patty should be enough.
OversizedMicropenis@reddit
It was sarcasm.
BatDynamite@reddit
Sorry man, it's just that there are so many people similar to OP in this sub that I just asume everyone here is that bad a cooking
WhyIsEverythngAwful@reddit
I mean its a shit post sub no? I do stupud shit sometimes, but this is intentional? lol
BatDynamite@reddit
Intentional as in they meant to do what's displayed, yes.
Intentionally shitty food? Not so much. They just don't know any better.
WhyIsEverythngAwful@reddit
Man I thought it meant "shitposting" 😕 now I just feel bad, but it took me like 25 yrs to even try to learn... I wish as a people we would do better.
BatDynamite@reddit
Read the sub's rules. Intentionally shitty food is not allowed.
There's a fine line between being bad at cooking and doing something intentionally worse just for show, but you can tell in most cases.
I usually leave advice on how to properly do something when I can, because you never know.
OversizedMicropenis@reddit
Lmao all good
DismalDepth@reddit
Don't be too harsh on him. I saw an episode of hellos kitchen were a restaurant would do that.
Salohacin@reddit
I saw someone steam a burger (bun and all) the other day and I'm not which which is worse.
SousVideDiaper@reddit
Was it Seymour Skinner?
AcousticDisorder@reddit
At this time, isolated only to his kitchen?
Ry113@reddit
I've also been to white castle
JoeMamma_94@reddit
I thought he moved out weeks ago and forgot that in there
YungEricSparrow@reddit
Is frying the burger in a pot going to break it or something? I juss saw a YouTuber poach a bratwurst cuz all he had was a pot
equivas@reddit
Im not hating. Would eat too
ConspiceyStories@reddit
Lol a pot also works as a pan. Might even be pansexual
BatDynamite@reddit
Why is this concept so alien to so many people? You can use any piece of metal as a pan.
sierrabravo1984@reddit
I was cooking chicken in a pot in preparation to make jambalaya. My wife asked why I didn't use a pan first then the pot. Because I'm do the dishes. Efficiency.
HammeredDog@reddit
I read that as "anus burgers".
asa1@reddit
It probably tastes like ass after op cooks it.
HighlightUpstairs777@reddit
God bless you please go get some fast food you freak
SDdude27@reddit
Did u put butter in that? What am I looking at? That gonna give u guaranteed diarrhea.
AliveAndNotForgotten@reddit (OP)
Nah it was just water but the burgers have a lot of shit in them. Private Selection® Applewood Smoked Bacon & Cheddar Angus Beef Patties https://www.kroger.com/p/private-selection-applewood-smoked-bacon-cheddar-angus-beef-patties/0001111097170
KarlUnderguard@reddit
Why did you put water in?
SousVideDiaper@reddit
As a burger, bacon, and cheese lover... that is an abomination. Ground beef patties shouldn't have other ingredients mixed in. Even just salt will fuck with the consistency.
By all means, slather a cooked patty in all of those, but don't mix them in with the raw beef.
