Is there a way to prevent Copilot from running?

Need a way to just remove any and all ai from everything...

Saving for a solution. The Excel implementation is straight up the worst experience I'll ever have with an MS product. It only works if you format your data in a specific way anyway, I've never once gotten it to actually do anything with my data and the only saving grace is it no longer pops up every time I click on a cell. At least that could be turned off

It works on tabular data. Its not some esoteric structure.

That’s the biggest irony about “Copilot” in Excel- the whole point is it’s supposed to work on unstructured input. This is less LLM and more a replacement front-end for VBAscript.

Get rid of your license and it goes away 🤷🏻

It doesn't.

Then update office. As of today, users not licensed for copilot will not see copilot in the office apps, if they are running the current versions of office.
TYGRDez@reddit
You sure about that?

There are MC posts about this.

We're running current build and still see Copilot in apps for unlicensed users.
