Looking for restaurants in west Plano that have semi healthy food. We like Flowerchild, Luna grill, Andrew’s pizza, cava, etc. but need new places to try. Please don’t say velvet taco or craftway lol

I think this is East Plano but I really like the concept of Angie’s! Affordable & healthy (based on what you get lol).

Do you like Thai? Best Thai Signature on the tollway at Frankford is so good, and there are many healthy-ish options depending on what you order.
RipApprehensive9314@reddit (OP)
My fav Thai is banana leaf!!!
Tall-Cricket-9296@reddit
Never been! We are vegan and Best Thai has a bunch of options for us but will check it out ❤️

Try the cafeteria at the hospital. They're required to serve healthy food.
bionicbrady@reddit
Actually.... You can get legit unhealthy cheap bad ass food at the hospital cafeterias. The public facing cafeteria is NOT the same for the patients that stay in the hospital. 100%
Texasthunderdan@reddit
Not a fact any more .. most hospital cafeterias have upped their game and tend to have sizable healthy options in their menu, irrespective of what they have been serving their patients

Cava has so much oil in it - just check those nutrition facts online. Just say you’re looking for a restaurant that’s pricey and feels healthy!
Texasthunderdan@reddit
Plus cava has unhealthy all over .. you can read about it via google

Sorry, didn’t realize it had that much butter. Maybe that’s why it tasted so good.. oof.

Try Arash Persian in PGBT. Been there 3 times and if was excellent. Persian is very Mediterranean like, with kabobs and hummus for example, but they also have these stews that are good.
RipApprehensive9314@reddit (OP)
I am Persian and need to stop relying on kabab every time I am hungry. Gotta branch out lol

In that same parking lot is Rise which is a good French place

I don’t like soufflés ;(
MarionBarrysBarTab@reddit
Rise is so good, probably too much butter for OP

Le Beef. It's a fixed menu, so if steak and fries aren't your thing, it's a terrible recommendation.
Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill.
RipApprehensive9314@reddit (OP)
I have been wanting to try le beef thanks for the reminder

Sichuan Folk at 75 and Legacy. Some of the best Asian food around. Very modest prices, can highly recommend. The atmosphere is very simple but the food is great.
