Rescued this little guy from my local thrift about a month ago. Cleaned it up and its all good!
Specs of IBM Netvista -
Pentium 4 2.4GHz \
256MB RAM \
40GB IDE drive \
1.44MB FDD drive \
CDRW 8x4x32 drive \
I had old peripherals laying around which is a nice fit for this -
NEC Multisync 75 \
IBM PS/2 keyboard \
Logitech mouse \
Logitech Attack 3 \
Logitech z313 speakers \
Logitech F710

If you want to turn it into a win9x setup, geforce4 mx low profile cards can be found cheap. that's underpowered for xp of course, but great for 9x.

I'll keep it as WinXP machine. I have an old HP Pavilion that has a Celeron chip i will use for DOS / Win9x. Already have sound blaster card (via emulation under DOS), gotek, sdcard to ide, and some Logitech/ Microsoft game port controllers. Just need to find time to put things all together!

Just in case you like strategy CnC Net has all the early comman and conquer games legit for free and multiplayer.

Nice one! You can sincerly play some very cool games with it, if you get it a GPU, from GTA 3, Black and White 2 to to Unreal Tournament 2004
