I played the grooves out of this album when I was in 6th or 7th grade. Anyone else out there had this epic masterpiece of pop culture?

Out of nowhere this morning, I woke up with “Mousetrap” tune in my head. WTH?

I had an 8 trac of the starwars sound track, not just the music- like the entire thing. Sound effects, lines, music, etc
I would put it on and imagine i was watching the movie

On my apple music playlist, along with space invaders by Uncle Vic.

I was so enthralled with this song that at a pizza place, I put enough money in the jukebox to play this song like 8 times in a row. I have to think that some of the customers (and staff) gave me dirty looks, but I was oblivious to them. Those poor people.

Froggy’s Lament was weird and I couldn’t stop listening

Nuts that this showed up in my feed. I was literally talking about this album on Tuesday evening with a friend. I haven't even thought of this record in decades. My vinyl copy is still at my dad's house.
coci222@reddit
I also had this on 45 with the b-side "Froggy's Lament"

I remember it because my crush and her friends did a dance number to it for the school talent show. It left an impression.

Have it on my shelf right now.
PlantWide3166@reddit
They played that song so many times on the radio back then I have a visceral reaction to it to this day.
Bless that was my first taste of understanding why my Dad seemed to be continually annoyed all the time about everything and I was only eight at the time.

In my town where I grew up our arcade was right next to the record store. Of course I bought it. I also owned the pac man shirt that the arcade sold.
Thirty_Helens_Agree@reddit
My brother had a copy. Either this or Say Say Say was the last 45 I held in my hands.
RetroRobB89@reddit
The first vinyl album I ever owned.
Braincloud@reddit
Yep, still have the record lol. Wish I still had my paperback “How to win at Pac Man” book or whatever it was called lmao. I got really good at it for a while 😄

I remember that!

My brother and I had it on cassette tape that was bought at either Sears or Montgomery Ward. I rmember going to the Space Station arcade and hearing Pac Man Fever for the first time.
RelaxBear74@reddit
Ode To A Centipede is a certified banger.
Rhusty_Dodes@reddit
I still have a copy. I break it out about once a year to laugh and reminisce.

There are still times when things are feeling hectic that I suddenly get “Goin’ Berzerk” stuck in my head.

I am finishing up basement and a corner is calling out for 80s video game lol.
