What GPU should I get for our family PC?

Mobo : Asus b85m-g
CPU : Intel 4790-k
RAM : 16 GB DDR3
PSU : Corsair CV450
Micro ATX PC CASE
Previous GPU is 1050 TI

Yeah.. i’m only trying to see if 1650/ 1660 / 1080 to 2070 series is okay no need for too much latest gpu since our family pc is already super outdated I just need a new GPU so i can play a little

No the 1080ti used to be a high end card so it draws a lot of power and seeing you only have a 450 watt psu this isnt a great idea

Honestly just get an RX 6600 and call it a day lol. Perfect match for a 4790K + 450W PSU and it’ll absolutely destroy the 1050 Ti at 1080p.
I wouldn’t go much higher or you’ll start running into CPU bottlenecks anyway. Your PSU also keeps you in the “efficient GPU” lane.
If you wanna stay Nvidia, maybe RTX 3060, but the 6600 is way better value for an older system tbh.
