Please can I have recommendations on where to buy the perfect comfy bra for small boobs?

I'm talking:
- thick enough for nip coverage
- comfy enough to wear round the house but also good out and about
- NON REMOVABLE PADS (so irritating!)
- ideally nude colouring
I'm so desperate for a perfect bra/bralette/crop top - I've scoured google, amazon, asos, vinted and other online shops, all the high street shops in my local town (h&m, new look, zara etc.), all the big supermarkets.
They either seem to be super comfy but not padded or with those devil spawn removable pads OR moulded but not especially comfy (even non-wired).
They must exist but where! Help a girl out!
rebelallianxe@reddit
Have you tried Matalan? Am also in the small book club and hate underwires but have had luck with soft but supportive bralettes there.
justmeinthenight@reddit
Have a look online at Boody, their bralettes are lovely and comfy.
porksandrecreation@reddit
Lemonade Dolls bras are really comfy, there’s no padding but they still conceal the nips.
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
Haven't heard of them will have a look!
DamMofoUsername@reddit
Male here who was adamant that skims bras were just marketing but bought one for my partner and I was wrong. Definitely worth the money (unfortunately)
shiveryslinky@reddit
I massively recommend M&S padded, non-wired Bras. They have a really wide range, pretty sizes inclusive, and the quality of the Bras has remained pretty constant. Big fan
acidic_tab@reddit
I found some incredibly comfortable bralets with padding in Primark. No wires, but sturdy enough to provide support while still being comfortable to sleep in. Pads are integrated and don't move around. I have a larger chest, but I'm sure it'll work just as well for a smaller chest.
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
Ooh - never would have thought primark would be an answer but I'll check it out - thanks!
fergie_89@reddit
I have large boobs, but Asda have a great selection that would fit your needs! Cheap cheerful but good quality. Mine last a couple of years before stabbing me!
justdont7133@reddit
I don't generally like Primark, but their bralettes are surprisingly good
VincentVan_Dough@reddit
These are what I’m wearing too. I prefer the non padded triangle style that comes in sets with panties. My nipples don’t show and the lining is enough.
sarahc13289@reddit
I use these, they are so comfy and I find thick enough to cover nipples.
Altruistic_Alpine12@reddit
Yeah there are what I wear, they’re very comfortable
Kiki-sunflower@reddit
Yes I came on to say Primark
sageymae@reddit
I loved the Primark bralets when I had a smaller chest. So comfortable! I lived in them for about 8 years, but had to switch to proper bras now because my boobs need more support.
Opposite_Funny9958@reddit
My daughter said the same! Their seamless ones are really good apparently.
Affectionate-Owl9594@reddit
The Uniqlo seamless ones are great
IamTory@reddit
I get my bras from Bravissimo and used their size measurement guide. I was wearing B cups but that was all wrong. It turns out I'm a really weird size--28E! Small frame but wideset breasts.
They have lots of styles and a much wider range of sizes than high street stores. I recommend looking into it.
KawaiiBunBun097@reddit
I buy my bras from Uniqlo which are really comfortable. The cups are nicely padded and shaped.
I also have bralettes and crop tops from Victoria Secret. Never tried their bras, and I only buy things there when it's on sale.
I used to buy bras from Boux Avenue. I bought the multiway bra there for my wedding and I found it offered good support as I needed to wear it strapless. It stayed where it was all day and night. Not once did I have to hoike and twizzle it back into place. I am awkwardly between sizes, so their normal selection I find quite uncomfortable. For this reason, I do prefer Uniqlo.
Bigassbird@reddit
These are amazing Uniqlo
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
Oooooh - is the padding non-removable? If so could be the one!
Bigassbird@reddit
Yep. I have six of these and I live in them. I have really bad skin sensitivity and can’t tolerate a lot of fabrics but I get on very well with these. I’m also small boobed. The best thing about these are that they’re seamless so aren’t bumpy under clothing.
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
I think I love you - this is exactly what I'm looking for. Will order one to try.
Bigassbird@reddit
Hope they’re as good for you as they are for me. I have one on at the moment under a very thin jumper and it’s invisible. I was going to post a photo but no-one wants to see a middle aged woman in her comfy bra on AskUK. And if they do I’ll start an Only Fans.
coyote-tango@reddit
Seconding these OP; the pads are non-removable!
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
Oh I love it - thank you these may be ideal!
Ok_Gazelle_24@reddit
have you come across Pepper in your search? I've not bought anything from them personally but their products may fill the brief.
Front-Pomelo-4367@reddit
Pepper's size chart is so dodgy. While they serve a market, they're definitely artificially inflating that market by telling some women that they're solving a non-existant problem. Tell me why my 32DD measurements come out to a 36A on Pepper's size chart...
Ok_Gazelle_24@reddit
yeah i'll be honest I think this is why I ended up not buying from them - their sizing felt inconsistent and confusing to me. but I know they're reviewed really well by some people so maybe OP will find it useful? idk.
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
I haven't but a few comments have mentioned them - will go have a look!
nancy-p@reddit
snag are doing bras now and I haven’t tried them yet, but if they’re as good as their tights then they’ll be excellent.
Dizzy_Charcoal@reddit
i don't find that the a bra that fits calculator works for me, so don't get hung up on it (people get hung up on the tag size but i find it varies between brands anyway). better to learn what shape of bra works for your body and start there, but its whatever info you look at its always only a starting point (my main thing is finding bras with the cups far enough apart, second the right shape cups)
in m&s i wear a 30C. i generally find one of the big m&s stores should have at least something i can wear and is generally better in store than online, and not just cos i can try them on. the staff there are knowlegeable about their products so they can help you find them when you know what you're after but fairly useless for sizing.
indiegirl1980@reddit
M&S
When i went to get measured (at 44, having never known my size) i bought the 3 pack of t shirt bras, think they were nude, white and black. Comfiest thing I've ever worn and felt like I'd been missing out.
tumshy@reddit
I like this one a lot! Plus you can get a fitting at M&S to make sure you like it first.
M&S FlexiFit
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
Ooh- is the padding non-removable? Looks good if so!
tumshy@reddit
Yeah non-removable padding!
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
Oooh - that's great news!
Isgortio@reddit
I'm a larger cupped woman and these bras are very comfy! I found they ran small so had to go up a band and cup size but I bought them about 8 years ago so it may have changed since.
BedGirl5444@reddit
uniqlo
Bumblebbutt@reddit
Boody do nice ones. I have their unpadded and their T-shirt bra which has built in padding. Make sure to filter by cup size as they have different fits for different sizes
LilacRose32@reddit
Stripe and Stare - I’m moderately well endowed but find them very comfy
Ok-Butterfly1605@reddit
I like the look of Lounge and Intimissimi for soft bras and bralettes, I must get round to doing some orders.
originalwombat@reddit
The primark stretchy crop top type bras have been my staple for YEARS
Live-Guidance7244@reddit
M&S are my fave for bras
QueenieQueeferson@reddit
My go to are the 'Body' bras at M&S. Their bralettes are great too but do have removable pads, which I agree are super annoying!
VeganHaggisLover@reddit
Oddballs have bralettes not sure if they have nude though
RonBonxious@reddit
Boody do comfy bras - I think some have attached padding and some removable depending on the type.
Strawberry_Spring@reddit
If you've found one you like with removable pads, I always just put a couple of tacking stitches in, and the stay put
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
Yeah I have done that but unless I sew them more throughly I find they still seems to get all misshapen and bundle up - feels like I shouldn't have too anyway if you see what I mean!
DotCottonsHandbag@reddit
I’ve just tried to get the link to the bras I’ve been buying for the last 5+ years only to discover Marks and Spencer has discontinued them, which is devastating!
This appears to be their replacement - they are underwired (couldn’t work out from your post whether you’re hoping to avoid underwires), but I’ve found their predecessors to be super-comfy for a support bra (which is why they’re the only style of bra I’ve worn for the last 5+ years).
(There’s a non-wired version from the same range here, but I personally like an underwire because it hurts if my boobs have too much movement, so can’t comment from personal experience whether this particular style is any good!)
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
I prefer no wires because my boobs are small enough to not really need much support. They look nice though - added to my list to check out!
queljest456@reddit
Have you had a look at Uniqlo?
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
I did but it's not a brand I'm familiar with so wasn't sure how comfy they would be - will check them out again.
user852578964322467@reddit
Have you tried someghing like this? I once got non wired push up from h&m and was very happy.
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
I tried similar from another brand and didn't find it as comfy as likely a crop tops style but will check these out thanks!
thermalcat@reddit
I highly recommend checking out r/abrathatfits to make sure you're fitted correctly. They also have a list of recommended shops.
kittykat7931@reddit
Asda did some - they came in packs of three in all sorts of colours. I’m with you on the removable pads though 🤬
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
Thank you! I'll have another look in asda.
Neddlings55@reddit
Have you looked at Oddballs?
My tits are too big for bralettes, but ive heard good things about Oddballs.
Ok_Requirement_7489@reddit (OP)
I've seen them but always thought they looked more kooky than practical styles but will check them out again.
melancholyy-scorpio@reddit
M&S are always really good for bras!
himit@reddit
So the First Bra section in M&S has adult band sizes (and goes up to a C I think?). Went there with my daughter before and they look quite comfy.
I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum & find Asda surprisingly good - cheap, true to size, has weird band/cup combinations, and comfortable. If the big ones are comfy I imagine the small ones should be too?
GrandAsOwt@reddit
ABraThatFits is a great resource. You’ll find all sorts of information about how to work out your shape and which manufacturers will be best for it.
belindahk@reddit
Have look in the teenage section.
belindahk@reddit
*a look
OkGrapefruit7174@reddit
I found some at M&S (outlet) they are very pretty and comfy. I’ve heard Pepper is specifically made for small boobs (I don’t have any from them so cannot give my opinion). If you ever make your way over to the Netherlands have a look at Livera, they were my go-to when I still lived there!
Money-Pen8242@reddit
They do have removable pads unfortunately but the bras from Celeste D’or are so comfortable and supportive.
It got advertised to me on Instagram and I took a punt and genuinely love them. No underwire but still great!
