Upgrade PSU?

I usually play games like RDR2, Assassin's Creed, GTA, etc. at 1440p at 60fps on high/ultra
My current build is:
Ryzen 5 3600
RX 9060XT 16gb sapphire nitro+
16GB ram DDR4-3002
aorus b450m
EVGA 80 BRONZE 600W ATX
KingSpec NX512 Gen3x4 NVMe 512gb 2280
HDD PNY SATA 500gb
I’d like to ask whether replacing my current PSU with a better one will improve my PC’s performance in terms of FPS. I don’t just want to buy a power supply with a higher wattage; I’d also be happy to stick with a 600W unit, but from a better brand than my current one

Or ryzen 5 5600

Just watch your performance on steam to know if your GPU is working at 100% if it does you're not having CPU Bottleneck. The 9060 XT only has a TDP of 160 W, they recommend a 450 W PSU for it.

No, a better cpu would be your best bet. R7 5700x or something similar.
Just calculate your power draw and go sslightly above it.

upgrade with
32gb ram ddr4 3600mhz 2x8 + 1tb gen4 990 pro + ryzen 7 5000 gen cpu + wifi 7 pcie adapter

I have been building my PC's since 2008 and have never heard about upgrading a PSU to boost performance. I think you have been down the wrong rabbit hole with this one.
A PSU upgrade can provide connectivity to better, faster GPU's though.

If you would be short on power your pc would crash or turn itself off.
AdAmbitious1065@reddit
You don't need more wattage, if you need to upgrade anything it would definitely be your CPU. Upgrading your PSU won't do anything.

Will it improve performance? Probably not. The only reason u would buy a new one os if the current is too old, u need more wattage, or u dont want to risk new hardware on a schetchy unit.
This PSU is total fine for this set up and u most likely wont see any difference with a new unit
