Who do I call to look at my extractor hood?

Hi guys, my extractor hood in the middle of my kitchen above my induction hob is dripping water constantly.
I don’t know if it’s because a vent on the outside of the property is not opening / closing properly or if the duct needs to be better insulated. Sadly, I don’t have the know how or skills to check or address either of these.
What type of tradesperson should I contact to look at this? An electrician? Apologies if this is a dumb question.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A general handyman should be able to deal with this.
Electrician would be the next port of call since the extractor has electrics and electricians do deal with vents and ducting from time to time.

If you give us more information, we can probably narrow it down. You suggested it could be a vent on the outside of the property. Do you have a vent on the outside of the property? What does it look like? Can you feel air coming out of it?

GHOST BUSTERS!!!

If it's on the middle of your kitchen, presumably you have a flat roof over that section and the extractor vents through a hole in the roof.
Can you see onto the flat roof from another part of the house?
If so, does water pool around the vent?
Either way, water is getting in or staying in.
There could be filters, as someone has suggested, which get bloocked, allowing condensation to form.

oven repair/cleaning might be a shout

Appliance engineer would be my recommendation

Are there filters you need to change?

There are plenty of extractor fans, they will be queuing up to come and have a look, you could sell tickets!

AFAIK electricians usually install extractor fans, and so should know their way around the issues.. Call one, and explain the problem: he will either take a look or tell you who to call.

i don't think electrician, its more general.
do you feel it’s just condensation forming or is it worse when it’s heavy rain possibly getting into the vent? If it’s neither of those then maybe there’s a leak getting into it somehow.
do you know any friends of family that might be able to narrow down the cause a little better?
