Hello! I am currently living in a Philippines and I am planning to go all in upgrading my current set up. I am asking for suggestions for upgrade path with my current build.
• Ryzen 7 5700X
• Gigabyte RX6600
• 16 GB Kingston 3200 mhz
• MSI MAG A750 GL
• 4 TB Silicon Power M.2 SSD
Planning to upgrade my monitor as well to play 1440p
Budget range $500 to $1000

Get a 9070 or 9070 XT. Upgrade ram to 32GB.
That is it. Unless you find a 5x00X3D cpu for a good price.

a 5070 or 9070, another 16gb ram and you are set

Upgrade to 32gb RAM and get a GPU with 16gb of VRAM. My choice would be either the 9060 XT or 9070. That should be enough for a smooth 1440p experience for newer triple A titles.

Noted on this. Hoping for this upgrade to last at least 3-5 years coz these prices are craaaaaazy!!

Yeah prices are so out of control man. I followed a similar upgrade path to yours and honestly I think it’s the right choice especially with prices for DDR5 RAM. The game changer for me though was a 1440p OLED monitor. That will make your upgrade worthwhile. If you really want to maximize your $1000 budget, I’d strongly recommend grabbing the XFX Swift 9060 XT along with the AOC Q27G4ZD OLED monitor. These come out to a total of approximately $1000 (P62,000) on Data Blitz. As for your RAM upgrade, you should be able to cover 32 GB by selling your 16 GB kit and RX6600.
I have a 5700 X3D with a 9060 XT and the AOC Q27G4ZD and it’s an amazing 1440p experience that should easily meet your 3-5 year timeline.
Anyways, good luck on your build!

Hello OP! We both live in the PH, so my advice for you is, stick to that CPU but get an X3D if you can. But I doubt you can get one in our market unless you buy through Amazon or PC Retail shops.
Maybe expand your RAM to 32GB, and have a dedicated SSD for your OS, a 256 or 512 GB is morethan enough for Windows 11 + Linux optional boot and Maybe a 4TB HDD for robust storage?
But, a 9070XT for 800USD will be your ultimate upgrade for performance. My previous recommendations are just for capacity expansion.

Thank you! Will scout for good deals for 9070 XT but I am leaning towards NVDIA now.

Lean toward amd. 9070xt is insanely better for the price

For Nvidia OP, you can get a 5060ti 16GB for about 30% cheaper that a 9070XT or a 5070ti for about 30-50% more. Performance is also somewhat relevant to that price comparison.

Keep your R7 5700X unless you find a cheap 5700X3D/5800X3D.
Look for a reasonably priced 2x16GB DDR4 3200-3600 kit. 16GB is fine for most games, 32GB gives you leeway for background apps.
Start with a faster GPU such as an RX 5070 or RX 9070. For 1440p gaming that will give you the best return on investment.

Thank you for this insight. Will scout for a good 5070 kr 9070
