Adding new RAM to older PC (2019) without issues?

I got my PC made in 2019 with these specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 3900X
- MBU: GIGABYTE X570 Aorus Elite
- RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 64GB (2x32) 3200MHz DDR4
I believe the full name of the RAM is something like this:
G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3200C16D-64GVK
64 GB, 2 x 32 GB, DDR4, 3200 Mhz, 288-pin DIMM
However this 2x32 kit is now exceptionally difficult to find in the EU, as I think it's discontinued. If I were to get another 2x32 set to go with my Ripjaws, to hit a total of 128GB, is there a safe way or brand to go to? I am not super tech-savvy, but have always believed that mixing RAM brands was a bad idea.

I don’t recommend mixing brands but it generally works. Just make sure they have the same MHz and cl rating or else the system will default to the lower one. You might run into some weird compatibility issues though. It’s kinda hard to answer if it’ll be 100% fine or not. I’m assuming you’d be good considering it’s ddr4 and it’s less finicky than ddr5. If it for some reason doesn’t work I’d return and try a different brand. I’ve only tried this with ddr3 on an older system and it worked fine and from what other people have said it works and is typically ok!

The likely outcome is that you won't be able to get all 4 sticks to run at the rated 3200MT/s speed but the default JEDEC speed.
Are you sure 64GB isn't enough for whatever you're planning to do though?

You might end up with totally different DDR4 chips, even buying the same model number. XMP/DOCP may stop working, at which point you would need manual tuning for decent performance.

I assume this is a workstation? 128GB of DDR4 would be a bit silly for gaming.

Honestly mixing RAM is way less scary now than it used to be, but matching speed/timings matters a lot more than matching brand names.
Just be aware 4x32GB on Ryzen might not stay stable at full 3200 XMP speeds, sometimes people have to drop it slightly.
