Ebikes with a high weight limit?

I am currently loosing weight, but i wanna know if there are any bikes out there right now with a 315-400 pound weight limit.
So, im a big fan of 26x4.0 bikes. And my recent offroader had a frame break happen due to a structural issue with the weld on the A-Arm of the bike.
I was wondering what you guys would reccommend in terms of offroading bikes that are high torque and have that 26x4.0 wheel size. Most importantly, THATS NOT A HYPERBIKE! My budget is a soft cap of 1k and a hard cap of 1,700.
Normally i would ask google but its not yielding any useful results to me.

By “HYPERBIKE” do you mean the brand?
NORTHERNTWITCH@reddit (OP)
I mean hyper ebikes. Like surrons and stuff. Things that go over 25-30 MPH.

OK, so no “electric dirt bikes”.

Class 3/4. At least as far as i can remember thats what im looking at.
Rogue_Wraith@reddit
Class 3 is pedal-assist only, up to 28MPH.
The most common classification system is a 3-class system, so you'd need to specify what you mean by a Class 4 eBike.
Rogue_Wraith@reddit
While they certainly make eBikes that are throttle to 20 and pedal to 28...the legality can be highly jurisdiction-specific.
They are frequently neither Class 2 (because there's assist over 20MPH) nor Class 3 (because they have a throttle).
If the intended use case is all off-road on private property, this is a non-issue.
For use on public property, more research would be needed. Some off-road trails treat anything with a throttle as a problem, and some on-road enforcement can be stricter than others.

What you want is a dual battery cargo bike. You’ll find more of these in 20x4 but it’s a similar ride feel.
A Class II will do what you want pretty reliably. Most bikes like that will do 20mph on throttle and 28 pedal assist.
Cargo bikes are available in both long and short tail lengths depending on what you need.

A 20" wheel cargo bike is a horrible choice offroad.
JG-at-Prime@reddit
Mine does fine.
Without a cargo load on them they have good suspension. They have plenty of power, especially with dual batteries.
Most importantly mountain or gravel bikes have weight limits that OP exceeds. Off-roading is no fun with an ass full of broken spokes.
They often top out at approximately 350lbs. On most bikes it’s the wheels that are the limiting factor.
Cargo bikes are specifically designed for heavy loads.
I wouldn’t recommend using a cargo bike to like kamikaze a downhill run. But for most mild off-road activities they should be fine.
Inciteful_Analysis@reddit
Small wheels perform poorly on rough offroad surfaces. That's not debatable.
There are a number of 26" x 4" fat tire bikes with payload capacities between 400lbs and 550lbs.
JG-at-Prime@reddit
It’s very debatable. Especially when moving heavy loads off-road. A 20” wheel with a 750w hub motor will have substantially more torque than a 26” wheel with the same wattage motor.
That’s not debatable. It’s physics.
My personal experience with my 20x4 cargo bike is that it performs just fine off-road. Maybe 26x4 would be a little better but my bike does just fine.
Plus, without dual batteries, bikes like the GrandTeton-Pro with its relatively small 14.whatever Ah battery will have really anemic range on throttle. With a 400lbs load on it that little battery will only offer around a ~15 mile range on throttle alone. OP specifically mentioned that they want the option of not pedaling.
Have you ever actually ridden a heavily loaded e-bike off-road?
Inciteful_Analysis@reddit
I've ridden all manners of bikes offroad including multiple 20" wheel ebikes. And small wheels suck offroad on broken terrain. Smaller wheels hit bumps at a sharper angle. This isnt rocket science.
The torque advantage doesn't begin to compensate for the poor ride quality. That's why you don't see 20" mountain bikes. You see 27.5" and 29" mtbs. And possibly 32" coming soon. No one needs more torque than a mountain bike yet they still don't use small wheels.
You may be taking liberties with the term "offroad". For light gravel and smooth dirt trails, sure small wheels are fine.
JG-at-Prime@reddit
OP is close to four bills.
I can pretty much guarantee that they aren’t considering the kinds of off-road riding that you are envisioning.
Torque and having lots of amp hours on tap are going to be paramount because heavy loads take a lot of energy to move. Especially uphill.
And yes. The ride quality is going to be worse than with a larger diameter wheel… But with 400lbs onboard the mountain bike suspension is going to be nearly slammed anyway.
It’s not going to be as pleasant a ride as some dedicated downhill rock monster but the dual battery cargo bike is less likely to leave OP stranded. At that weight OP is unlikely to have the stamina to pedal out if they get stuck somewhere.
Inciteful_Analysis@reddit
OP never mentions his weight. You might infer it's 315lbs. Not 400lbs.
OP makes clear his preference for full size fat tires.
Highly suggestive he isnt confining his offroad riding to smooth trails.

Sorry but it has no throttle. I should have mentioned it but i want a throttle.
Inciteful_Analysis@reddit
The hub version (Grand Teton Pro) has a throttle and is only $899.
NORTHERNTWITCH@reddit (OP)
Oh! Didnt see that.

Check out the Aventure 3
NORTHERNTWITCH@reddit (OP)
The adventure bikes all have wierd pedal placements and overall not what im looking for.
Exciting-Peak70@reddit
Goat Power Bikes have several models with 450lbs limits.
NORTHERNTWITCH@reddit (OP)
I have heard very controversial things about goats.. i have been thinking about getting one though.... wouldnt be that good for offroading though. At least a motor goat. Ive used one and they are just not comfortable to ride.
MasterChiefette@reddit
Tuttio and Eahora have bikes that can handle 350lb riders.

Aniioki A8 has a weight limit of 330 pounds
